Dee,
Thank you for saying so eloquently what I have thought about this book all along. Order of the Phoenix is my least favorite in the series, because all the way through, it seems Harry is angry at the world and lashing out at everyone around him. I often compare it to Catcher in the Rye (which I have never cared for) when students ask for a recommendation or comparison. I was so relieved things got better with the 6th book, and I am hoping the final installment will come full circle to resolve everthing for loyal readers. Guess we'll see in a few days, huh? As for the movie, I think I can wait for the DVD.

I enjoy your comments both on your own blog and on mine. Thanks for connecting. Keep up the good work.

I just reread the book and then saw the movie.

Actually, I felt like the book was intense, but had a lot of humor, most of which the movie completely left out.

I think the movie just raced from scene to scene without relishing anything and left out the "heart."
